So I think a Sig .45 just enough larger than the P365 to accommodate the larger round would be pretty good. Sig seems to like 1911 pattern for .45 though. Did not realize there was a difference until I read that. Checked my slides and I have 2 of each, my NRA 365 dated April 30, 2019 and my SAS slide purchased in January 2020 are the new type.I converted the XL to a macro and the P365 to a P365X. I believe I'm going to leave the 380 as is, you can feel the weight difference. The XL is a belt carry gun while the P365 has a bit more versatility with concealment due to its size. I've owned both at the same time and ended up getting rid of the XL. I carry strong side IWB and the P365 with the flat base magazine is much easier to conceal than the P365 XL because of the height differential. The P365 is also more convenient to carry because the shorter slide and the 10 versus 12 round magazine make the gun lighter.Sig has a conversion kit listed for $399.99 that also includes the grip frame and a single .380 10 round mag (plus the barrel/slide/recoil spring). Just seems like Sig is charging extra for a grip frame that really isn't needed to convert a 9mm P365 to .380. Sig007..
